Papa Francesco, fino alla fine con il suo popolo
Profonda riconoscenza e immensa gratitudine a Papa Francesco dalla famiglia dell’Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, dell’Istituto G. Toniolo e del Policlinico A. Gemelli

On the day of the passing to heaven of His Holiness Pope Francis, the family of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Istituto Giuseppe Toniolo di Studi Superiori and Fondazione Policlinico Universitario “Agostino Gemelli” IRCCS gathers in prayer to express deep and profound gratitude. The human sadness of this moment makes the example of Francis, the Pope who came 'almost from the end of the world' to revive the Church and give hope to the whole world, even more shining.
The Holy Father always directed special attention to Università Cattolica and Policlinico Gemelli, attention which was shown again with warm affection and true joy, despite his frailty and illness, in the very recent meeting of last April 16th during which he wanted to greet the staff of the Policlinico who had assisted him for 38 days.
